Video of the Week: Hayley Ashburn Slacklining 9,000ft

One of the most well-known female slackliners, Hayley Ashburn recently rocked the outdoor sports world with a daring highline between the famous and breathtaking Vajolet Towers in Italy’s Dolomites.  It was a tightrope walk across a line that connected summit to summit at an altitude of over 9,000 feet.

This feat required a lengthy backcountry skiing approach and hours of treacherous rock climbing and slackline setup.

But Hayley Ashburn is no stranger to pushing the envelope. She’s been at the forefront of the sport of slacklining and scaled the huge Tre Cime di Lavaredo mountains in treacherous conditions earlier this year to launch the adidas global winter campaign #openallwinter.

The spectacular series of videos also feature French paraglider, Jean-Baptiste Chandelier and South Korean Ice Climber, Junghee Han among other adidas outdoor athletes in urban training scenes and their winter projects.
