WomensMovement.com Brings Pretty Faces to Durango 11-14

The sell-out Pretty Faces ski film is coming to Durango’s Smiley Theater on November 14th via WomensMovement.com—and we are so honored to partner with SheJumps to share this inspiring movie with our home town.

This inspiring ski flick, which has been selling out venues across the country since its debut on September 30th at The Boulder Theater, celebrates women skiers everywhere. It is the first-ever crowd-sourced, crowd-funded all-women’s ski movie, which was envisioned by pro freeskier Lynsey Dyer. 

Pretty Faces will premiere in Durango on Friday November 14th at the historic Smiley Theatre at 7pm with an all-ages event. The $10 tickets benefit SheJumps, Dyer’s non-profit committed to getting more women outdoors via education and events. This event will also mark the launch of the new SheJumps-Durango local chapter.

Doors for the not-to-miss pre-party—featuring food & drinks (including signature cocktails) from the Smiley Cafe, benefit swag raffle, DJ Niko, and TREW Gear mobile store (with a % of sales to benefit SheJumps)—open at 6pm.

Pretty Faces: the Story of a Skier Girl

Along with starring in the film, Lynsey Dyer is the visionary behind the project. “We are on a mission to make skiing and the outdoors look so fun that no girl will ever want to stay inside,” states Dyer. “Through this project and my nonprofit SheJumps, we want young girls to see positive, strong, and courageous women pursuing their passions and finding success. We want to show females everywhere: ‘if she can do it, so can I.’”
