The über-light carbon fiber vessel, which was created in collaboration with PUMA and features a Volvo Open 70 boat hull design taken from the PUMA Ocean Racing yacht, is shipping from the manufacturer in EcoCradle packaging. EcoCradle employs mycelium fungal network technology to replace the prolific un-Earth-friendly plastic foam packaging. Once the board reaches its destination, the packing material can be broken down and composted or used as mulch. This focus falls in step with Hamilton’s passion for ocean conservation.
